As a newcomer to the scene, the Roses Creative Awards was quite the adventure for me. An excuse to get glammed up, a sparkling drinks reception, the chance to network, and most importantly, a three course dinner. The event did not disappoint, from the food, to the company, to the a cappella singers, and it was great to see so many creatives celebrating each others successes.
I had a brilliant time representing the Mighty Giant team, and we were delighted to receive our award for the best Item of Self Promotion for an ambitious motion design piece, produced for coverage during the election. It was incredibly encouraging to receive such recognition, especially for a piece of work that was a complete passion project. All in all, a very successful night, even if we did have slightly sore heads the next day…
