Our home for the things we make whilst creating. Experiments, developments, mistakes & doodles.

Why?
Creating beauty is something we all strive for. This is a compisition that explores colour AND shape.
Where to use this?
In beauty products, organic forms. Being able to experiment with these growing forms allows us to create shapes outside the norm

Plantlife

Experimenting with Blender dynamics, as well as colour composition.

Why?
Similar techniques to the flower, however this piece is entirely built with nodes! (Ask us to explain :)
Where to use this?
Pharmaceutical videos. Medical Explainers. Music visuals.

Jellyfish

More dynamics in Blender. This animation is entirely node generated...again, new techniques allowing us to alter our workflow.

Why?
Building little worlds like this is something we love to do.
Where to use this?
If you have a story to tell, what better way than to build your own world to tell it. For brands, charities, companies. The list is endless.

Coasting

This turned into a big old studio project. We wanted to develop a new painted technique in our 3D animation. As part of this, we built this little world.

Why?
We won't pretend this is deep and meaningful. It's meant to make the audience smile more than anything else.

Head Banger

A lot of our playful pieces like this are just an excuse to try out new methods. This one was an R&D piece into how hair works on models, which grew into this little character.

Why?
Realistic textures and fluids are something often called for with any product related work.
Where to use this?
Products | Beauty | Pharmaceuticaul | Medical.

Growth

Purely about textures. This was a study into hard textures colliding with soft paints. We got carried away so wanted to add some music.

Eye

We have a lot of pharma work, so inevitably we need to find ways to animate details. This was a test that we developed.

Why?
We experiment with this kind of work to allow us to work on projects where we will need real collisions.
Where to use this?
Think of Pharmaceutical demonstrations, product films, health and beauty.

Balloons

Nothing more than fun with dynamic fabrics.

Scary Chair

One of a series of development pieces we did whilst looking at interiors. The plants growing out of it was a leftfield turn.

Tumble

Part of the series of furniture R&D. This one was an experiment in gravity that we thought we should carry on and finish.

Lady & Bird

This was a pitch we didn't win. We developed this character, and ran some animation tests. So nice we wanted to make sure it got seen.
